Still working on good Christmas Photography…it is harder than one might think…Also, I am upgrading my flash collection by two more flashes, so soon I will be able to do much more stuff.
Today’s picture:
A friend of mine pointed out that the big junction looks like a starfish with long arms – very cute! But since every shot from inside the Tokyo Tower will look very similar (you “only” have Tokyo to photograph!), I wanted to do something ‘different’. So here is another tilt shift photo by yours truly. For my other tilt shift works, check out my Flickr stream.
I think, the key to a good miniature effect is love for the detail. Don’t just blur one stripe of the picture and leave it at that, most of the time it doesn’t make any sense, since there are other objects in that line, that go further than just this unblurred area. Take them out of the blurred area, to make them stick out and give your work a more realistic touch, so to speak…
