Christmas Chocolate

29 11 2008

Tomorrow is 1st Advent (German Christmas tradition, lighting 1 candle every Sunday until the 4th is lit until Christmas Eve) and I was listening to the Frank Sinatra Christmas Album, eating Vanillekipferl-Chocolate and lighting candles. Got me in the mood to use the good Lindt-Chocolate for something else than making me fat and round.
So here is some hopefully delicious food photography, lit by a red lantern, a candle and a Nikon Speedlight by yours truly.
Merry Christmas :)

This is not NYC

29 11 2008

NYC – capitol of the universe, right?
Well, this is not New York City!
This is Tokyo, Frankfurt, London, Taipei, Sydney, Kyoto, Roma, Miami…
Not NYC…
But I guess I have to go back again some day…

Meeting from above

28 11 2008

I posted almost every (interesting) picture from my journey to Taiwan and Japan, just some few are left to post-process.
Posting a picture every day will become a very difficult task from now, since I am very very busy with my thesis and work and barely go out to even snap something, far from doing planned photo shoots.
Anyway, it really feels like winter here, especially with the snow from time to time, starting last week, when I took this photo in my garden in the morning. It has been uploaded already a while on Flickr, but I didn’t post any winter shot on here yet and really like this leaf alot, bending up, holding the first snow that materializes from the sunshine like a hands holding a newborn child…
