
Totally private in public
I guess, having a little private time in a city like Tokyo is a difficult thing to accomplish in everyday-life. Commuting everyday for at least an hour from home to work or school (or even shopping in places like Shinjuku as in the photo below) is a normal thing, and although prices for public transportation are ok (especially considering the good service you enjoy whichever line you take, to whatever station you go), it would be too troublesome to just drive home and drive back to town.
So I guess we are stuck with creating our own private space in total public…
